Wooden Bead Necklaces

These necklaces are unique objects. The necklace is composed of wooden beads out of cherry wood, that were turned on a lathe.

The wooden beads were then colorized with mica powder and ecoline, two methods that add vibrancy and shine to the wood. Mica powder is a metallic pigment that creates a shimmering effect that reflects light and enhances the texture of the wood. Ecoline is a liquid watercolor that gives a translucent and luminous color to the wood. I used different colors and patterns to create a stunning contrast between the wooden beads.
