A beautiful stylish urn with a light micra powder colouring.
Video of the making of: The making of the bi-vase
This unique piece of decorative art is a hollow object made from linden wood. The object was shaped on a lathe and the result is a smooth and symmetrical form that showcases the natural beauty of the wood grain.
The object was then colourized with mica powder techniques, a process that involves applying thin layers of metallic pigments to the surface of the wood. The mica powder creates a shimmering effect that reflects light and enhances the texture of the wood. I used different colors and patterns to create a stunning contrast between the dark and light areas of the object.
It's a good example of how traditional and modern methods can be combined to create a beautiful unique decorative piece.
